Technical Writer - Aircraft Maintenance Manual Writer (relocation to Switzerland) role at OnTarget Communications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain documentation of aircraft maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, AMM supplements, and ATA chapters; in accordance to airworthiness requirements, internal guidelines, and legal guidelines.
• Create supplementary materials to documentation such as parts list tables and illustrations.
• Analyze engineering documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance, working alongside engineering teams.
• Track revisions to documentation and maintain technical documentation libraries.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a technical writer in Aviation (documenting AMM) with minimum five years experience
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.
• Experience with the following tools:
  • FrameMaker
  • Illustrator
  • IsodrawCADprocess
  • Sketchup
  • AutoCAD
  • MS Office
  • XML - advantage
  • Visual Basic - advantage
• Excellent English skills - required
• German language skills - advantage
