Permanent

Grade 5 - £40,221 - £48,474

Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review

Working 36.5 hours per week

This is a great opportunity to join our Talent, Learning & Early Careers Team within Birmingham City Councils people services.

We are looking for individuals that share a passion for development and are looking to appoint several roles within the team looking at different areas of responsibility. The areas we want the roles to cover are:

  1. Early talent – development of our internal talent through Early Careers including Apprenticeships, Graduates, Work Experience and placements. Looking at career pathways and organisational agility and transferable skills for our workforce.
  2. Performance development – to enhance our mechanisms to support BCC to becoming a performance organisation.
  3. Learning & development – commissioning and design of learning programmes to support Street Scene.

About You

  1. Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  2. We are looking for passionate individuals who want to work with the already established team to drive our future talent within BCC.
  3. We want to support those applicants that show potential and desire to have a positive impact on the workforce for the future of Birmingham.
  4. Ambition, innovation and drive, to support the growth and delivery of Talent, Learning & Early Careers across Birmingham, while promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in the work we do.
