Job summary

A leading engineering company in London is seeking a skilled Engineer to perform maintenance visits, install equipment, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Candidates must be able to read engineering drawings and work independently. The role requires travel within the UK and occasional overseas trips. A full clean driving license is mandatory.

• Problem/fault finding capability.
• Work from own initiative with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled maintenance visits, repairs, and breakdowns as instructed.
• Install or commission equipment as instructed.
• Participate in on-call rota and shift system.

Job description

Duties to include, but not limited to:

• Carry out scheduled maintenance visits, repairs and breakdowns as instructed

• Install or Commission Lodige equipment as instructed

• To carry out all work in accordance with company procedures, standards, safety policies and time frames

  Essential Requirement's (mandatory):

• Able to read and understand electrical, mechanical drawings

• Problem/fault finding capability

• To prioritise and plan work schedule in advance with Service Co-ordinator

• Communicate precisely both in writing and verbally

• Work from own initiative with minimum supervision

• Work as a team member as required on multi-person activities

• Maintain smart appearance

• Participate in on-call rota and shift system

• Work overtime & travel as and when business requires

• Maintain a full clean driving license

• Operate company Service Management system using smart phone to report attendance; site surveys and equipment information

  Additional Requirement's:

• CRC (Criminal Record Check)

• Disclosure of Scotland (Certification)

• Comply with company handbook and relevant company Health and Safety standards

• Comply with company vehicle policy

  Location:

• London- within 45 mins of Heathrow Airport

• Routine UK wide travel and occasional overseas

  Time served Engineer with one of the following:

• Relevant Engineering qualifications
