Sign Maker & Installer (with vehicle graphics experience)

We are seeking an experienced Sign Maker & Installer with proven vehicle graphics expertise to join our team. This role involves the production and installation of a wide range of signage products, with a strong focus on precision, quality, and craftsmanship. You will be confident working with vinyl applications, vehicle graphics as well as traditional signage materials and installations.

Location: Signs Express (Huddersfield & Halifax), Units 15/16, Queens Mill Industrial Estate, Queens Mill Road, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, HD1 3RR

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Working Hours: Full-time position, Monday-Friday

About the Role:

Operate and maintain large format printers, vinyl cutters and laminators.

Prepare and apply vinyl graphics to vehicles (windows/panels).

Working with a wide range of substrates including Dibond, acrylics, metals, wood, vinyl and Foamex, to a consistently high standard.

Installing all types of internal and external signage.

Ensuring all installations are completed to our high standards.

Ensuring Risk Assessments and Method Statements are understood and followed.

Always providing outstanding customer service to our clients.

What we need from you:

Experience in making and installing a wide range of signage.

Interpreting briefs accurately with a great understanding of different signage and manufacturing techniques.

Experience in applying vehicle graphics.

Experience in the use of vinyl plotters and laminators together with an understanding of signage and manufacturing techniques.

Proven experience in a sign fitting, application of vehicle graphics and the use of relevant software packages.

Following all company procedures and guidelines to ensure all signs are fitted safely and securely.

You will have a positive, can-do attitude, be well organised and be able to work alone as well as part of our team.

IPAF/PASMA/CSCS accreditations (desirable but not essential).

Professional, flexible, enthusiastic individual, a strong communicator, well organised and be able to work alone, as well as part of a team.

An understanding of the importance of health & safety.
