**Role summary/purpose of job**The purpose of this role is to develop and lead the people strategy for the aligned practice group and associated business services teams within London. The senior HR Business Partner (SHRBP) will provide the full range of HR generalist support from both a strategic and operational perspective. **Key responsibilities and deliverables**Work with the HR generalist team, partners and line managers, to implement business improvement, HR policies and processes within client groups.Work with the talent COE, in the design, co-ordination and facilitation of development activities as needed within client groups.Work with the partners and line managers to support communication, initiatives and processes to improve employee engagement relating to employee feedback.Keep fully up to date with all developments in terms of employment legislation and employee relations issues and utilise this technical knowledge to provide advice and guidance to partners and line managers.**Key requirements**Demonstrable experience in a generalist HR role working at a strategic and senior level.Strong knowledge and experience of employee relations and current knowledge of employee legislation and best practice.Experience of working in change intensive environments.Good project management skills. Ideally experience of working within a professional services organisation.Proficient IT skills including experience of HR databases, Excel and Workday.**Competencies**Ability to coach individual team members and create a high performing team. Excellent leadership skills and the ability to inspire confidence, particularly in an environment with a focus on continuous improvement. The ability to build strong working relationships and to be able to persuade and influence a range of people at all levels and across cultural and global boundaries. Excellent resource allocation and planning ability.
