Job description

Requirement: SD-WAN Deployment Engineer

Duration: 6 months +

Inside IR35,

Start: ASAP

Location requirement: Full time on site in Solihull

Clearance required: SC level

Your role will involve:

1. Configuring and deploying cEdge devices using Cisco vManage
2. Detailed investigation in real time for any issues with the deployment
3. Performing remote diagnostic tests where applicable to aid primary fault rectification
4. Ensuring all work performed complies with the Company's quality requirements and ISO9000
5. Preconfiguring equipment for customer installation
6. Implementing Approved Configuration Changes

Your Experience:

1. Good understanding of networking fundamentals
2. Experience of building and deploying routers and firewalls
3. Problem solving skills, allowing you to think dynamically in high pressure situations
4. Thorough knowledge of network technologies relating to Cisco, knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN would be advantageous
5. Ideally have been in a support role in a WAN environment with knowledge of virtualisation
