Overview

QA Manual Software Tester - Permanent - Full Time - Hybrid. Recite Me is the leading provider of cloud accessibility and digital inclusion software. We are looking for a manual QA Tester to work with the Head of Testing to identify defects and help deliver a quality, bug-free product. The role will involve manual testing primarily before and after releases, writing test criteria to guide product feature specifications, and providing feedback on UX and usability improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the planning, design, and execution of manual test cases across web and mobile
  • Collaborate with the Head of Testing to prepare test plans, create and execute test cases, monitor bugs, and re-test fixes
  • Ensure User Stories have well-documented User Acceptance Criteria by working with product owners and designers as required
  • Plan and coordinate all testing cycles (functional, system, and business scenario-based testing) to ensure proper coverage and reduce redundancy
  • Lead manual testing efforts and provide insights to ensure product quality
  • Contribute to automation planning and assist with automation initiatives where opportunities arise
  • Maintain awareness of a portfolio of evolving products at different maturity stages and provide feedback for continuous improvement
  • Participate in release meetings, post-live testing, and quality sign-offs
  • Validate application behavior against business requirements and acceptance criteria
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on manual testing and writing UACs and test cases
  • Ability to create diverse test scenarios for specific functionality
  • 2–3 years of experience with JIRA and dashboard preparation
  • 4+ years of experience testing web and mobile applications
  • Strong bug identification skills, excellent communication, and ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Independent, proactive, and collaborative attitude
  • Experience in writing clear bug reports
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience executing Sanity, Regression, Functional, and Exploratory testing
  • Willingness to contribute to test automation in a supportive capacity
  • Experience following both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Nice to have
  • ISTQB Foundation Level certification
  • Basic understanding of test automation frameworks and experience writing or maintaining automated scripts
