An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Policy Development Officer to join the Government Relations team, based in Kings Place London.

One of your primary responsibilities will be to conduct research and gather data on internal policy issues, whilst providing administrative support to the wider team, including assisting with drafting and updating internal policy documents.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Conduct research and gather data on internal policy issues affecting the defence/aerospace industry.
  • Assist in the drafting, review, and updating of internal policy documents.
  • Provide administrative support to the policy development team, including scheduling meetings and managing documentation.
  • Analyse policy data and prepare summaries and reports for the policy development team.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Proficiency in conducting research, gathering data, and analysing policy-related information to produce reports or briefing materials.
  • Capacity to analyse policy data and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Clear communication skills to convey policy information internally and assist in stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and coordinate policy initiatives.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills to manage documentation and support day-to-day operations.
  • Experience in the defence/aerospace industry may be advantageous but not necessarily required.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as public policy, political science, or economics, or equivalent experience.
