Job description

Pulse Nursing Agency is looking for experienced Phlebotomists and HCA’s with Phlebotomy experience in Consett with shifts available Monday-Sunday (8:00am-19:30pm). Offering competitive hourly pay rates.

Working as a Phlebotomist/HCA you will:

• Complete POCT cholesterol checks; height, weight and waist measurements; heart rate and blood pressure checks and record data findings on the system.
• Draw two blood samples, labelling and storing correctly.
• Check the welfare of the participants throughout their appointments, escalating as required.

To be successful in this role you should have:

• Minimum of one year’s active experience drawing blood.
• Experience in taking patient observations.
• Excellent patient care skills.
• Immediate holder of the Right to Work in the UK.
