Specsavers in Weymouth is looking for an ambitious and talented Optometrist to join their diverse team. The focus at this store is about pulling together and working as a team to ensure that their valued patients have an excellent experience. Join their existing team of Optometrists at Specsavers in Weymouth – a highly successful store with a great reputation for staff progression and the very highest standards of customer care.
What’s on Offer?
Our store has 5 test rooms, all fully equipped with the latest clinical technology (including OCT). We offer enhanced clinical services including post cataract assessments and glaucoma shared care, as well as a local MEC’s scheme. Our experienced, diverse, and friendly team are always on hand to offer support and take care of patient needs, meaning that as our new Optometrist, you can focus on offering a first-class sight test to our loyal customers.
What we’re looking for
Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist, the right person for this position will be confident, possess a strong work ethic, and a willingness to succeed. You’ll be passionate about your job and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for an Optometrist who will go the extra mile for our customers and someone who encourages their colleagues to do the same. You’ll be confident testing at 20 minutes; meeting and exceeding all personal and team goals without compromising the high standards of clinical care we are proud of and be an ambassador for the Specsavers brand at all times.
You will assist the directors with the supervision of professional and support staff as required; holding a Pre-Reg supervision qualification would be a distinct advantage, however, we are happy to support your learning and development in this area and pay for the appropriate courses.
In summary, we’re looking for a high calibre resident Optometrist to join us and assist in driving this excellent practice forward.
