Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Temporary Occupational Therapist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions to help patients develop, recover, and improve their daily living and working skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
  • Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to improve patients' functional abilities.
  • Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
  • Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • CORU registration.
  • Proven experience working in a primary care or similar healthcare setting.
  • Own Car and Full Driver's License
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
  • International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 moths
    after the age of 16).
