Qualifications

• Experience working as a Technician / Mechanic in the HGV or related sectors.
• Good understanding of safety inspections and MOT preparations.
• Ability to participate in breakdowns.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain a variety of Trucks and Vehicles.
• Carry out safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT.
• Perform fault diagnostics and carry out repairs.

Skills

Technical knowledge of HGV/Commercial Vehicle maintenance

Ability to diagnose faults

Full UK driving licence

Education

Level 3 qualification (C&G, NVQ or equivalent) in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

Recognition of training or apprenticeship
