Job summary

A leading provider of Satellite Communications in the UK is looking for a Marine Service Engineer. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of marine service experience and in-depth knowledge of electronic/electrical engineering. Responsibilities include installation, repair, and maintenance of various maritime systems. Benefits include an annual bonus, matched pension, and 25 holiday days per year.

  • Work on installation, repair, and maintenance of navigational equipment.
  • Complete whole bridge installs and large system integrations.

Responsibilities:
  • VDR-APTs
  • Installation, repair and maintaining GMDSS Equipment
  • Installation, repair and maintaining Navigational equipment
  • Installation, repair and maintaining VSAT Satellite Broadband
  • Working on Retrofit projects completing whole bridge installs and large system integrations
Location and Commitments:
  • Permanent Full Time Position based in the UK at either Plymouth / Falmouth, Portsmouth. However, positions also available in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Netherlands and Germany please contact us for details
  • Annual bonus based on company and individual performance.
  • Pension matched up 7.5%.

Candidate requirements:
  • Good standard at a higher level HNC/ONC/NVQ Level or equivalent national standard education
  • Preferably a skill base education/qualification with an I.T/ Engineering based
  • Current Driving Licence
  • Able to pass marine/offshore worker medical examination
  • Valid Passport
  • 3+ Years of Marine Service Engineer experience
  • In-depth knowledge of electronic/electrical engineering
