Midday Assistant - Term Time Only
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and caring Midday Assistant to join our team. This is a vital role in the school day, helping ensure that lunchtimes are calm, safe, and enjoyable for all our pupils. Whether helping younger children with their meals, encouraging positive play, or supporting transitions in the hall, your presence and engagement will make a real difference.
Position: Midday Assistant
Responsible to: Midday Supervisor
Working hours: 11:45 AM – 1:15 PM or 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM (Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per week, term time only)
Salary: Scale 2, Point 3 - Actual Salary: £4,092.36
Rather than a formal interview, we’d prefer to invite interested applicants for a shadow shift, where we can see how you interact with the children and team in a real lunchtime setting.
