Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in the UK is hiring a Mechanical Project Engineer to support the design and delivery of utilities and process projects. This role involves working with senior engineers on energy-efficient solutions in industrial environments. Qualifications

  • 1–3 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing, engineering design, energy, or sustainability.
  • Understanding of industrial process systems, including pumps and compressors.
  • Knowledge of UK and/or EU legislation related to mechanical and process system design.

Responsibilities

  • Support design and delivery of utilities and process engineering projects.
  • Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Select and specify mechanical and process equipment for projects.
