Job summary

A leading NHS Trust in the UK is seeking a Locum Consultant Interventional Radiologist for a 12-month fixed term position. Qualifications

• Must hold Membership of the Royal College of Radiology (or equivalent).
• 4+ years clinical experience in Vascular and Non-vascular Interventional Radiology.
• Emergency imaging experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain expanding workload and support MDT meetings.
• Contribute to general workload and participate in on call rota.
• Ensure highest standards of patient care are maintained.

Skills

Extensive clinical training in Interventional Radiology

Familiarity with PACs and IT systems relevant to Radiology

Teaching experience

Supervision of junior medical staff

Ability to undertake research/audit

Education

MB ChB or equivalent

FRCR or equivalent

Full GMC registration

MD/PHD or equivalent
