Overview

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support our dining services at Bupa Care Home. The role involves communicating between residents and kitchen, preparing dishes, maintaining hygiene, and assisting with special events.

Responsibilities

• Act as the link between the main kitchen and residents.
• Assist chefs in plating meals, preparing food trolleys, and keeping preparation areas clean and tidy.
• Monitor stock rotation in compliance with company policies, COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
• Assist with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.

Qualifications & Skills

• Passion for food with previous kitchen experience.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with care team.
• Commitment to maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.
