Job description

The Key Account Manager will work closely with the Customer Service Manager assisting with the service management of larger customer accounts. In addition to having customer focused responsibilities, you will also act as first line support for Key Account Executives across the department providing daily support, mentoring and coaching.

Day to Day
  • Lead monthly and quarterly KPI review meetings with assigned customers, as required
  • Support other activities such as Audits and stock takes
  • Build and maintain excellent customer relationships with clients to develop a constantly improving service
  • Assist the Customer Service Manager by holding regular customer reviews and providing clear business and operational reports with supporting analysis
  • Ensure all operational performance standards are met, monitored, and maintained in accordance with contractual service level agreements and KPI’s
  • Maximise the weekly, monthly, and annual performance of Customers service levels
  • Lead and mentor a team of Key Account Executives, providing first line support where required
What will you bring?
  • Previous experience of working with high profile contracts would be advantageous
  • Process driven, have the ability and willingness to strive for continuous improvement and conduct RCA
  • Possess strong communication skills both written and verbal at all levels
  • Computer literate – knowledge of SAP would be advantageous
  • Proactive with the ability to prioritise own workload and work on initiative
  • A team player, who is motivated and can remain calm under pressure
  • Innovative approach, forward thinking, able to think ‘outside the box’ and generate new opportunities for improvement
  • Flexible approach and be willing to carry out varied tasks positively, reliably and if required out of the normal office hours to ensure a satisfactory resolution
