Insurance Accounting Technician

Handling the daily transactions flowing through the Insurance Broking Accounts department, this role maintains operational expertise across a variety of activities from processing of incoming receipts, standard account reconciliation, and raising outgoing payments. You will form a key part of ensuring a regular operating rhythm is maintained throughout the month, enabling the wider IBA team to maximise client and Insurer engagement.

Supporting work across one (or several) of the below areas which may include own allocation:

  1. Credit Control
  2. Cash Application
  3. Insurer Reconciliation
  4. Bank Reconciliation

Daily processing of core IBA tasks such as receipt allocation, insurer statement reconciliation, and raising of payments.

What you need to show

1 year's experience in an IBA or Finance role within insurance.
