We are seeking a dedicated and capable leader, who shares our commitment to nurturing children’s growth. The successful candidate would have a solid understanding of Primary education from Reception to Year 6. Experience within Christian education is desirable but not essential.

This full‑time role includes some class teaching, alongside leading the Primary department. Responsibilities:

• Overseeing curriculum and assessment
• Supporting staff
• Managing resources
• Liaising with families to foster strong home‑school partnerships

SLT members lead areas aligned with their skills and experience, contributing effectively to the school’s overall development.

A clear commitment to the Christian ethos of the school is essential. There is a Genuine DfE registered Occupational Requirement (GOR) that the post-holder is a Christian. Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010 applies.

• 2 years referencing taken up
• Complete a Disclosure Application Form
• Full enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check

Candidate will also be expected to participate in safeguarding and welfare activities.
