We’re looking for a motivated Primary Graduate Academic Coach to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Oxford (OX2). This role is ideal for graduates who want hands‑on experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and are considering careers in teaching, educational psychology, or child development.
Full-time role in a supportive primary school
Competitive weekly pay (£480–£520)
Immediate start
Excellent experience for future teacher training or psychology pathways
Work as part of a collaborative, caring staff team
Provide targeted academic and emotional support to pupils with SEN
Deliver structured intervention sessions in 1:1 and small‑group settings
Support literacy, numeracy, and engagement across the primary curriculum
Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement tailored learning strategies
Monitor pupil progress and contribute to individual support plans
A degree (2:2 or above)
A genuine interest in supporting primary‑aged children with SEN
A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
