Product Engineer (iOS, Full-Stack)

Emerge is building the future of mobile development. We already offer an extensive suite of tooling for both iOS and Android, such as Size Analysis, Performance Analysis, Launch Booster, Snapshots & ReaperAI. We work closely with many of the biggest & best companies in mobile, like DoorDash, Square, Airbnb, Duolingo, Dropbox, Bumble, and Stripe.

We’re looking for someone who has a deep understanding of building iOS apps at scale and enjoys working closely with customers to improve their experience.

Responsibilities

• Extensive hands-on experience in iOS app development, preferably on an app shipped to millions of users developed by a large team.
• Strong technical writing & communication skills.
• Experience with CI tooling like Fastlane, Github Actions, Xcode Cloud.
• Familiar and excited about backend/fullstack, product work (Typescript, Ruby, Serverless & AWS).
• Thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative, and proactive environment (we strive for a culture similar to Gitlab, but adapted for a small team).

About us

Emerge is a suite of developer tools designed to supercharge mobile apps and the teams that build them. Emerge was founded in December 2020 by Noah Martin and Josh Cohenzadeh after realizing many mobile companies were each building custom solutions to solve the same problems. Emerge is backed by top VCs like Y Combinator.

Our team is lean (just 9), technically experienced, and tight-knit. We're fully remote spanning from San Diego, Seattle, United Kingdom, Boston, Uruguay, and New York. We still love to spend time in person together, so we try to have a company retreat in cool places a couple of times a year.
