An established industry player is seeking a passionate Key Account Manager for their refrigeration sales team. We now have an opportunity for a Key Account Manager, Refrigeration to join our indirect wholesales business channel for the UK & Ireland at Danfoss Climate Solutions to strengthen our refrigeration sales department.
This position will be based from home, with candidates being based in the Midlands or South of the UK. The role will involve regular travel within the region and some nights away from home as required, as well as occasional international travel for training purposes.
In this position, you will be responsible for the sales development of all Danfoss Cooling and complimentary products. These include fully hermetic scroll and reciprocating compressors, condensing units, refrigeration line components and valves, heat exchangers, and refrigeration electronics at selected partner wholesalers.
You will expand and maintain customer relationships and develop sales growth with a focus on wholesalers, contractors and installers, OEM customers, and Food Retail business through partner dealers in your sales territory with our wholesales network. With the help of various sales tools, training, and excellent relationship management, you will maximize sales within assigned area and key partner accounts in the UK and Ireland.
Key account management of all aspects of business and relationships with our wholesale partners will be an integral part and function of the position.
You will ensure that the necessary information resources, software, and promotional materials are available to all parties involved. In addition, you will be responsible for training technical and sales staff on new Danfoss products to create further sales opportunities. You will also carry out pull activities in consultation with your key wholesale accounts and our Marketing Communication Team.
To thrive in this role, you need to have completed technical vocational training or a degree in the field of refrigeration technology. In addition, you should have good knowledge of working within the UK and Ireland refrigeration business. Experience of working within wholesale businesses and indirect sales channels with our target customer groups and markets is a key requirement. In addition, we are looking for:
