About the Role:

The Broker Operations Technician will be responsible for delivering a full range of broker support services to the business community and liaise with internal teams to facilitate business through Liberty Syndicate.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Preparation and processing of LPANs, LCCFs, bordereaux, treaty statements and associated documentation
• Processing through Xchanging
• Supporting new business development activities
• Supporting other sections within Business Support as needed.

About the Department & Team:

The team is responsible for providing a pathway for the transaction of business between overseas offices and the syndicate, direct clients and the syndicate, and between LSM and Xchanging.

It also provides the broking interface to support the transaction of facilities for third-party coverholders, the Service Company Underwriting Authorities, the placement of outwards reinsurance, and the placement of intra-group business underwritten by LSM.

Facilitates the production of technical transactions via Xchanging for payments settled directly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and processing of LPANs, LCCFs, bordereaux, treaty statements and associated documentation
• Liaise with underwriters, coverholders, direct clients and Xchanging
• Supporting new business development activities
• Supporting other Business Support activities as needed

Skills and Experience:

• Lloyd’s/London Market experience preferred in a similar or broker backup role.
• Solid technical knowledge of binding authorities/lineslips, BDX, Xchanging systems and services, and Excel preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and confidently with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
