Role: National Onsite Customer Support Manager

Location: Midlands - ideally candidates will live in either the East or West Midlands due to the requirement of National travel

ABOUT THE ROLE –

  • Deputise at any time for all members of an Onsite Customer Operations team through to and including the manager’s position.
  • Ensure that sales orders are promptly loaded onto the systems at acceptable margin levels, savings achievement, and customer delivery requirements.
  • Ensure that purchase orders are promptly loaded onto the systems utilising established preferred sources of supply where possible.
  • Ensure that reporting team members have clearly defined tasks and objectives and that they deliver the required standards of performance.
  • Research and identify supply options where preferred suppliers have not been previously determined or cannot supply within required timescales.
  • Maintain and establish strong customer relationships.
  • To travel to and from Customer sites across the UK.
  • Regular staying away from home required – location all dependent on site with required support.
  • Please note we have support staff based across the UK and will endeavour to keep staff as close to home as possible, BUT, this is a role that requires national coverage.

Working hours:

Mon - Fri: 8am- 5pm

Breaks: 1 hour

Weekly hours: 40

ABOUT YOU –

  • Knowledge and proficiency with systems, i.e. SAP, Excel.
  • Previous experience in the engineering industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Willing to travel across the UK.
  • Potential staying away from home Monday – Friday.
  • Managerial and/or team lead experience.
  • Located in Central East England (ideally Sheffield or surrounding towns/cities).
