Qualifications

  • Experience with RCV and municipal vehicles is essential.
  • Must possess a full driving licence and preferably a C+E licence.

Responsibilities

  • Respond quickly to customer vehicle breakdowns and defects.
  • Ensure all vehicles meet legal and manufacturer standards.
  • Complete LOLER inspections and maintain documentation.

Job description

Commercial Vehicle Mobile Technicians Vacancies across England and Scotland

Through continued growth, NRG Riverside are making further investment in our highly successful and valued UK network of maintenance workshops and mobile engineers.
As a Commercial Vehicle Mobile Technician, you can expect to receive comprehensive training, from your initial induction, through to product training and IRTEC licencing.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  1. Rapid response to customer vehicle defects and breakdowns on site and at the roadside
  2. Ensure all vehicles and trailers are maintained to both legal & manufacturer’s stipulations
  3. Diagnosis and subsequent repair of all types of faults
  4. Completion of LOLER inspections
  5. Accurate completion of documentation, in line with required company standard
  6. Working with colleagues as required to ensure customer SLA’s & KPI’s are met & exceeded
  7. On Call Rota for weekend cover

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Full driving licence
  2. C+E Driving Licence (Preferable)
  3. City & Guilds parts 1, 2, and 3 in Heavy Motor Vehicle Technology or NVQ equivalent
  4. Ability to understand technical specification
  5. Work within an unsupervised area in a safe and tidy manner
  6. Good communication skills with management, suppliers and customers
  7. RCV & municipal experience (essential)
  8. A flexible approach is required
