About The Role

Position: Band 7 Sonographer

Hours: Part-time, 24 hours per week

Requirements: Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or Equivalent, HCPC registered.

Our Ultrasound Department

Team: A supportive team of sonographers covering general medical, obstetrics, and gynaecology ultrasound, including early pregnancy.

Specialist Roles: MSK, neonatal hips and heads, head and neck, and contrast-enhanced ultrasound.

Development: We actively encourage and support role development and CPD.

Responsibilities

1. Report all your own work.
2. Participate in the training of student sonographers.
3. Travel to our other sites at Mansfield Community and Newark Hospitals.

We are creating a Community Diagnostic Centre at the Mansfield Community Hospital Site, and Ultrasound will be a key part of this development.
