If you're a talented communications professional with demonstrable experience of creating engaging and impactful communications plans and content - utilising all digital and traditional channels - to reach target audiences and incentivise behaviour change, now is your chance to join our high-performing, friendly Communications team.

You would be joining at a pivotal time as we take forward ambitious plans to improve how we care for our patients, support and empower our staff and work with our partners.

Key Responsibilities

  1. To plan and deliver impactful and outcome focused communications campaigns, plans and content that support the organisations strategic priorities flexing between working collaboratively, with colleagues and external stakeholders, and working autonomously.
  2. To support the delivery of our new identity, helping relevant stakeholders (both internal and external) understand the changes and the actions they need to take as a result.
  3. To proactively source good news stories, and convey them in the way that is best suited to different audiences needs, that help the organisation raise awareness of its mission and services and deliver its strategic priorities.
  4. To support the planning, delivery and promotion of corporate events.
  5. To confidently provide expert strategic communications advice to colleagues at all levels within the organisation.
  6. To support the regular evaluation of communications effort to glean insights that usefully inform future work and allow the production of regular reports to senior members of the trust.
