Job Description

Sunrise Nanny Agency has a wonderful opportunity for a childcare professional seeking a live-in nanny job.

We are working with a wonderful family based in Swanwick, Hampshire. SO31.

The family has one boy aged 6 years old.

The family lives in a beautiful location by the river with water and paddock views. They are within walking distance to Bursledon train station with direct links to London/Southampton. The nanny will be provided with her own room and bathroom within the family home.

You will be required to work approximately 14 days a month providing care before and after school and overnight. You will be provided your rota a month in advance. The nanny is likely to be working 4 days on, 5 days off, or 3 days on, 4 days off.

Whilst on duty, the nanny will have complete sole charge. Duties include completing the morning routine from 7 am, driving the boy to school, and returning to the family home to complete an hour of nursery duties/household support. You will then have the day to yourself. The boy will be collected from school at 3:20/4:30 pm, and the nanny will take him out in the fresh air, provide his dinner, and complete the evening routine. He is asleep by 7:30 pm, and the nanny will be in the home during the evening/night when on duty.

On your days off, you are welcome to stay in the family home or travel/visit friends/family or work for other nanny families/employers. When mum is home, she is an active parent, so the nanny is not required to work.

The right nanny will hold previous professional childcare experience with checkable references. A childcare qualification is an advantage. You will be a car driver with your own car or a confident driver of the nanny car. You will enjoy the outdoors and engage the little boy in river cycles, games in the paddock, and fun adventures. This position would suit a carer seeking their first nanny job.

The family can be flexible on the start date.

Family offers £320 gross per week, with all bills and food included. Yearly salary is £16,640 gross per year.
