If you’re interested and passionate about providing support and information for people affected by a lung condition either face to face or online, our support group volunteer roles might be just what you’re looking for.
Our support groups volunteer run monthly meetings to benefit people with lung conditions. The hours are flexible and will vary depending on the volunteer’s availability to set up the group, organise speakers and other resources. This is an opportunity to meet new people, make new connections and friends, while increasing your knowledge of lung conditions and services in the area. You could learn new skills while offering much needed support for people living with a lung condition, their families and friends, and raise awareness of the work that Asthma + Lung UK are doing.
We provide volunteer induction training, resources, a team member contact to support you on your volunteering journey, and we’ll refund all reasonable out-of-pocket expenses incurred while volunteering.
