A role with impact

Due to team growth and expansion, we are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join us and lead the Northern team for Pulmonology sales. As Ambu UK&I continues its amazing growth journey, we're looking for a leader who can further accelerate growth, both in business, the team and for the customers we serve. As the market leader for single use devices across airway management and bronchoscopy, we have a strong Business Unit Strategy in place and are seeking a leader to help us take the next step.

You will collaborate both with your team and the UK&I Pulmonology Sales Director to achieve sales growth and profit targets, requiring your strong strategic and sales leadership skills combined with the ability to deliver results through an inspired and motivated team.

The region covers Scotland, Southern and Northern Ireland, North Wales, North of England and the Midlands.

Suggested candidate profile

Setting you up for success is one of our cornerstones. In order to do so, we imagine you bring experience in MedTech sales leadership and have previously owned and operated the development and execution of the regional sales plan (budget) including monthly, quarterly and annual sales & profit forecasts. Experience and knowledge within Airway management and bronchoscopy devices is also desirable. As we'd rather drive change than wait for it, it's evident that you frequently assess the training and development needs of the regional sales team and implement appropriate training strategies based on accompanied field visits.

Furthermore, you will:

  • Deliver Regional and Business Unit Measurable Objectives
  • Provide forecast and business updates when applicable
  • Ensure pricing, agreements and contracts strategy developed and maintained across the team
  • Mentor and coach Territory Managers by being highly active in field
  • Identify target account profiles and Key Stakeholders execution of the sales process for each product segment, ensuring the success of the total portfolio.
  • Ensure the CRM database is being used to its potential and used to drive effectiveness
  • Travel frequently in the UK, and extensively across the region - to support and develop the Sales Team, on average 3 to 4 coaching days a week. There will also be congresses and other events to participate in.
  • Be a role model of the company values to your team and the wider organisation – Be True, Team Up & Take Charge
  • Live within the region
