As a Public Sector Audit Associate, you will be working and collaborating with colleagues in the audit team, as well as wider service lines to build strong working relationships. You will be providing assistance on public sector audits working with a variety of NHS trusts, central government departments, and local authorities.
You will gain hands-on experience from the planning phase of audit, through to fieldwork and completion. Some of your tasks will include:
You will be joining at a very exciting time for our Public Sector Audit team as we embark on a new contract from 2024 to deliver external audit services to local councils and police and fire commissioners. You will also be a part of expanding our external audit offering to NHS organisations.

We have created a first-class training and development programme and, by starting your career at Azets, in addition to the comprehensive on-the-job training, you will also be given all the support you need to complete a professional qualification, including college and/or study days, mentoring, and a designated buddy. The qualification that will be undertaken for this position will be through ICAS.
