Open Position: Statistical Programmer HEOR

Remote Locations – Canada, UK, India

We welcome applications for the position of Statistical Programmer with ConnectHEOR.

We are a global Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) consultancy and training company looking for candidates who are research-oriented, technical, creative, adaptable, and interested in solving complex problems.

No. of Positions: 1

  • Well-versed in R/R Shiny, VBA, SQL
  • Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python (Selenium, Pandas, datatables toolkit), C++, Java, ReactJS, NodeJS, Laravel
  • 2+ years of experience in statistical programming (for Senior Analyst). Freshers are welcome to apply (for Analyst role)
  • Master’s in statistics, statistical programming, operational research, computer sciences, or related quantitative fields
  • BTech or MTech candidates can also apply
  • Knowledge of fundamental statistics, Bayesian statistics, survival analysis, linear algebra, and machine learning concepts
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) and Google systems
  • Experience or keen interest in IT, coding, and software development
  • Experience or keen interest in data visualization and statistical analysis
  • Excellent English communication skills (writing and verbal)
  • Excellent research skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and project management skills
  • Quantitative and technical aptitude
  • Proactive approach to work
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly
  • Creative and design skills
  • Project management experience and team leadership
  • IT systems and database security knowledge

  • SAS programming skills including SAS macros

  • Practical experience in the application of statistics in health economics, outcomes research, and epidemiology
  • Proven statistical programming skills with standard software, including SAS, R, and STATA
  • Ability to communicate effectively in non-technical terms with project team members
