We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and career driven trading underwriter to join one of our London based commercial underwriting teams. This is a great job for someone that is a multiclass underwriter (Property & Liability and/or Motor Trade) who can operate within agreed guidelines and authority levels to profitably and grow a book of commercial Mid–Market business.
This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to building a portfolio of brokers and customers. You will play a vital role in expanding our market presence and driving the success of New or Existing business teams.
Aviva has introduced “smart-working”, and the person in this role can be based anywhere in the UK, as long as they are comfortable regularly travelling to our London offices.
A bit about the job:
The job requires you to work collaboratively internally and externally within one of our London underwriting teams to support both the Senior Underwriter and Team Manager in delivering financial growth plans. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our brokers and customers to gain a deeper understanding of their needs. By leveraging data insights, you will need to ensure that we deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to the unique requirements of each customer. In turn you will need great organisation and time management skills including the ability to manage your own diary successfully in a fast-paced environment.
