The Role:

ERM is a fast-growing organization and as part of our ambitious growth plans, we’re updating our approach to partnering with leaders. We’re looking for an experienced Talent professional, with a strength in coaching to join us on our transformation journey. Reporting into the Business Unit Lead HRBP, this role will have an impact in the HR team and directly with the leadership team. In both fields the role will be accountable for the design and delivery of the Talent Strategy in the Business Unit to enable commercial growth.

You’ll be a strategic thinker, able to shape and form the talent strategy. As part of the People team in a fast-growing organization, you’ll also be hands-on with the programmatic implementation and delivery, working with stakeholders across our business - understanding requirements, and working on successful implementation of our people plans across the business.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and execute a strategic talent plan which will build the commercial and leadership capabilities of Talent within the Northern Europe Business Unit.
  • Partner and consult with business leaders, to understand their talent needs that will drive their business and creatively support these with solutions that align to our organisational strategy.
  • Coach leaders on developing and managing senior top-talent, enabling leaders to be accountable through ownership of decisions and talent growth whilst providing expertise and guidance on practices e.g. talent identification; development practices etc.
  • Cultivate business continuity, through sustainable and realistic succession planning, coaching and challenge business leaders’ thinking to plan for role readiness representative of the future needs of the business.
  • Engage and drive partnerships across the HR team particularly with Talent Acquisition and the Business Partners to have oversight of the total talent pipeline.
  • Lead the annual process for Talent Management, connecting to global stakeholders to apply continuous improvement, whilst applying local implementation and embedding of talent practices.
  • Report on relevant MI, working across the HR team to provide analysis and insights, enabling us and business leaders to make data-led decisions.
  • Be a champion for diversity and inclusion.

About you:

  • You will have a proven depth of experience in managing and progressing talent within organisations, coupled with a strong commercial mindset, specifically in building and implementing a people strategy representative of the business priorities and external market trends.
  • Passionate about building a better future by enabling those around you. Coaching at every level and every day is how we work in ERM.
  • Strategic and data-driven mindset with the ability to think critically and convey complex insights in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Excellent engagement and stakeholder management skills; able to forge strong working relationships that translate into shared outcomes.
  • Accountable for finding solutions, proactively scan the internal and external environment to identify risks and drive solutions.
  • Prior experience in professional sales, consulting and/or scientific related skills ideally in the environmental, civil engineering, oil & energy, STEM and/or management consulting industry sector is beneficial but not essential.
