Job description

Norman is a Berlin-based fintech on a mission to liberate businesses from the burden of accountants and tax advisors. We are building an AI CFO for SMBs in Europe. Think of it as Tesla Full-Self Driving (together with the car) for finance.

The founders are repeat entrepreneurs with experience in fintech, AI, and B2B SaaS. We are spread across Berlin, London, and Warsaw. We value quality and taste. We are focused on solving specific, meaningful problems rather than piling up features for no one. The first product we are building will automate tax filing for digital freelancers in Germany.

Responsibilities

1. Build and maintain scalable and responsive user interfaces using React and other related technologies.
2. Work closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to develop new features and improve existing ones.
3. Help define and maintain visual guidelines and ensure consistency throughout the app.
4. Collaborate with backend engineers to design and implement APIs that support the frontend.
5. Collaborate closely with the founding team to establish the product and technical roadmap.

Requirements

1. At least 3 years of experience in frontend development with a focus on React.
2. The ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
3. You value great design and seamless product experience.
4. Experience in Finance / FinTech is a strong plus.
