At Innomotics, we supply motors and the full range of variable speed drives as well as complete systems to rotating equipment OEMs and end clients in the Power, Oil & Gas, and Steel industries.

Reporting to the Overseas Service Manager, we’re looking for people with the skills and vision to build a better tomorrow. Join us as an Overseas Field Service and Commissioning Engineer and help us re-imagine the world by finding solutions and making the world a smarter place for tomorrow.

Whilst the position is home based (ideally within an hour’s travel from a UK Major Airport), you will travel extensively around the world, often at short notice, working on exciting customer projects in Oil, Gas, Steel and other heavy industries. You will be well supported by the other Engineers in the team and suitable training is available for the right candidate.

We make real what matters

1. Fault find, repair and commission High Voltage Variable Speed Drive and Motor Systems ranging from 250kW to 150MW
2. Perform preventative maintenance on existing Drive & Motor Systems
3. Strict adherence to relevant processes, site rules and regulations, including health and safety
4. Compile detailed, comprehensive reports with actions identified
5. Provide training on operation and maintenance whilst on site to the customer’s Engineers
6. Work as a site manager on larger projects

Your profile.

1. As extensive foreign and UK travel will be required, a full UK Passport and a full UK Driving Licence are required
2. Degree (or HND) electrical/electronic engineering qualification
3. Knowledge and interest in Large Motors and Drives Engineering
