IPT Compliance Associate (German)

Very rarely will you get an opportunity to carve out a specialist global career. But if you’re native or fluent in German with either experience (or interest) in accountancy & tax, you could have the opportunity to join a highly established global consultancy and embark on a career in cross-border Insurance Premium Tax.

You’ll need some accountancy, finance, or tax experience which will give you a platform to really advance your technical knowledge and work closely with highly experienced Senior Managers. As a result, you’ll be in a great place to start working towards ongoing progression within this firm’s European tax practice.

About the Role

• Oversee the completion of IPT compliance
• Manage a diverse range of clients and be responsible for the controlled completion of tax cases
• Advise clients of any IPT which is payable or refundable for a tax return
• Consult clients on IPT related issues and ensure that excellent service is provided and deadlines are met
• First point of contact for your assigned portfolio of clients
• Liaise with tax authorities on the client’s behalf

About You

• Fluent in German
• Have around 1 year’s experience (or more) working in a finance role or a graduate in an accounting discipline
• Excellent relationship-building and client-management skills
• Good general competency in Excel
