Locum Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner – West Yorkshire Walk in Centres

GP World have an amazing new nursing opportunity as an Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner within two Walk in Centres located in Leeds. These services are offering ongoing locum work, in an incredibly diverse patient population who present with a variety of medical and social needs, delivering innovative and sustainable care for all.

Shift Patterns: 0800 - 1600, 0800 - 2000 or 0800 - 2100

Days: Offer Up to 7 days a week

Rates: £45 - £65 per hour depending on experience

Start date: As soon as possible

Requirements:

  • Full registration with the NMC or equivalent
  • Nursing Diploma or equivalent
  • Masters (MSc) in nursing or equivalent
  • Independent Prescriber (V300)
  • Must cover illness and injuries
  • SystmOne experience

Role Purpose and Skills:

Manage acute presentations to the Walk-In Centre, as part of a team of autonomous practitioners; in addition to using the clinical knowledge and skills to determine urgency and best pathway for patients presenting to the Emergency Departments in Leeds (streaming). Need to be able to see/assess/treat patients of all ages (adult, children including newborns) presenting with illness and injury.
