Full registration with the NMC or equivalent is mandatory.
Experience as an Independent Prescriber (V300) is required.

Manage acute presentations at the Walk-In Centre and provide urgent care.
Assess and treat patients of all ages with various medical needs.

Locum Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner – West Yorkshire Walk in Centres

GP World have an amazing new nursing opportunity as an Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner within two Walk in Centres located in Leeds. These services are offering ongoing locum work, in an incredibly diverse patient population who present with a variety of medical and social needs, delivering innovative and sustainable care for all.

Shift Patterns: 0800 - 1600, 0800 - 2000 or 0800 - 2100

Days: Offer Up to 7 days a week

Rates: £45 - £65 per hour depending on experience

Start date: As soon as possible

Requirements:

Full registration with the NMC or equivalent
Nursing Diploma or equivalent
Masters (MSc) in nursing or equivalent
Independent Prescriber (V300)
Must cover illness and injuries
SystmOne experience

Role Purpose and Skills:

Manage acute presentations to the Walk-In Centre, as part of a team of autonomous practitioners; in addition to using the clinical knowledge and skills to determine urgency and best pathway for patients presenting to the Emergency Departments in Leeds (streaming). Need to be able to see/assess/treat patients of all ages (adult, children including newborns) presenting with illness and injury.
