Responsibilities

  • Support the Home Manager in leading the day-to-day running of the service
  • Ensure high standards of care, safety, and wellbeing for people supported
  • Motivate and develop team to deliver person-centred care in line with frameworks
  • Play a key role in quality assurance and compliance

Skills

Experience working with adults with complex needs, learning disabilities or autism
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Knowledge of relevant care regulations and quality frameworks
Confident using IT systems and managing care records
Experience managing rotas and commissioned hours
Familiarity with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
Full UK driving licence or reliable access to transport
Job description

As Deputy Manager, you will support the Home Manager in leading the day-to-day running of the service. You will ensure high standards of care, safety, and wellbeing for the people we support, while motivating and developing your team to deliver person-centred care in line with regulatory frameworks and organisational values.

You will play a key role in quality assurance, team management, rota planning, and maintaining compliance with CIW and RISCA standards.

What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience working with adults with complex needs, learning disabilities or autism
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of relevant care regulations and quality frameworks
  • Confident using IT systems and managing care records
  • Experience managing rotas and commissioned hours
  • Familiarity with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
  • Full UK driving licence or reliable access to transport
