This role is a full-time position in an NHS CMHT service located in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire; it offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust is seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry to work from Monday to Friday. Your core responsibilities would be to help assess, diagnose, and oversee the mental health of patients in your care.
The postholder will be carrying out the assessment and treatment of patients in a community setting, which includes treatment of functional and organic illness, as well as memory assessment and treatment. The successful candidate will be supported by a well-constituted and well-led MDT including Registrars, psychologists, nurses, OTs, and social workers.
