The Role / Y swydd

The Communications and Public Affairs Officer promotes the work of the Children’s Commissioner for Wales (CCfW) through effective communication strategies aiding political and public awareness with the aim of safeguarding children’s rights and achieving positive change for children and young people in Wales.

The role entails media handling, political engagement and content development, ensuring that the Commissioner’s message is communicated to a range of audiences.

The role directly supports and advises the Commissioner and the organisation on all communications and public affairs matters.
