Job Overview

The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Histology to work in Coventry. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory’s cellular histology service.

Responsibilities

As a Biomedical Scientist in Histology, you will be expected to:

1. Be proficient in microtomy, able to cut over 30 blocks an hour to a high standard.
2. Have experience in embedding and staining.
3. Support senior biomedical scientists in the delivery of the service.
4. Provide guidance to junior members of staff.

Essential Requirements

• HCPC registered
• Microtomy and embedding experience
• UK NHS or private sector Histology laboratory experience
