This role sits within the Business Intelligence as a Service (BIaaS) lab, an enablement function focused on delivering our vision for the future of BI.The keyword being "Enablement", therefore this role is NOT about developing BI Dashboards, Visualisations / Reports / Analytics, but about BI Platform Engineering which includes the Design, Build, Implementation, Scale-Out and Support of our strategic BI Applications and their related Products, Features, End-to-End Patterns/Blueprints, Best Practices, Ways of Working and Operating Models for success.You must therefore be able to demonstrate experience of working with teams like Networking, Security, Architecture, Cloud Services and more; including a know-how of Software Engineering Principles and related common challenges, in order to deliver on our vision for the future of our BI Products and Services.You’ll work in a Feature Team within the BIaaS lab, together with a Product Owner and other multi-skilled Engineers, with a clear Vision, Key Results and Objectives ranging across the Build, Maturity and Support of:* Connectivity between our BI Applications and various on-premise and cloud data sources.* Self-Service capabilities to all BI personas.* Conversational Analytics through Natural Language Query interfaces.* Data Agents for BI* BI Marketplace* BI Semantic / Knowledge Layer* Simplifying our BI Estate.**About the Team**We're a dynamic and diverse lab, with a reputation of delivery at pace, innovating and challenging the status quo.
