Job summary

A leading analytics firm is seeking a Data Analyst to deliver high-quality data outputs and support business development using SQL and Power BI. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in translating business needs into technical solutions and strong ETL skills. Responsibilities include building robust ETL pipelines, creating Power BI data models, and ensuring data quality across KPIs. This position offers a permanent role with a salary of up to £65,000 per annum plus benefits and a hybrid working arrangement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical BI solutions.
• Advanced SQL Server / T-SQL skills.
• Strong ETL experience, including handling high-volume data pipelines.
• High proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query (M).
• Demonstrable experience creating, maintaining, and optimising Power Automate flows.
• Experience using SSIS.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Build strong working relationships across the organisation.

• Design and deliver end‑user training and BI documentation.
