Job summary

A leading road maintenance provider in Scotland is seeking a full-time Approved Electrician to oversee and maintain electrical assets along the North West Trunk Road. The role requires at least 4 years of experience, an SJIB ECS Card, and a collaborative mindset. Qualifications

• Approved electrician with current & valid SJIB ECS Card.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems and remain calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work in diverse environments, including at height.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and electrical maintenance on assets.
• Conduct night time safety patrols as scheduled.
• Participate in on-call standby rota every 5 weeks.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure safe operation.
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations.
