We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect to join our Enterprise Architecture team in Patria Group IT Team in Tampere, Hämeenlinna or Espoo.

In this role, you will have approximately 50% on-site work requirements, and there are an average of 30 travel days per year, primarily domestic travel.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development and a proven track record of designing and implementing innovative solutions that drive business growth.

The role will involve working on various projects related to unifying business processes and, consequently, IT architecture. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring, at a high level, that IT requirements (e.g., data, security, application-related requirements) are met in projects and considered for future services. You will work closely with business and you will have the support of technical experts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
2. Design and develop scalable, high-performance architectures that meet business requirements.
3. Lead the design work and implementation of solutions, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
4. Provide guidance and mentorship to project and IT service and application teams.
5. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance our solutions.
6. Work closely with business and process developers to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
7. Ensure that all solutions are aligned with the company's overall business strategy and goals.

Required Qualifications:

1. Extensive experience in solution architecture, application and business development.
2. Strong understanding of development/project methodologies and best practices.
3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
4. Ability to communicate complex (technical) concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
5. Excellent English skills; Fluent Finnish skills are a plus.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Practical experience with IT infrastructure and information security.
3. Strong business acumen and the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
