We are building a team in the Nordic region to deliver innovative solutions based on our industry leading social welfare product - Cúram.

The Cúram team within Merative has more than 30 years of experience in streamlining and supporting the delivery and administration of social support across the world.

As a Senior Technical Consultant, you can apply your skills – and grow new ones – with colleagues who have deep expertise in the processes and technology within the health and social care sector.

In this role, you will work with the world’s most influential enterprises to transform business operations with new technology. You will leverage in-depth knowledge, experience and insight to address clients’ business issues (which may include client, industry or technology related challenges) with solutions that improve the client's return on investment.

To be successful in this role, you need to be passionate about technology and have a proven track record in the delivery of end-to-end Java Enterprise Solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical aspects of Medium to Large scale implementations.
• Work as part of large multi supplier teams to implement components of an enterprise architecture based on the Cúram product.
• Work to define and monitor quality standards across a development team.
• Design, develop, code and test Cúram implementations in a JEE environment.
• Work with business and technology stakeholders to translate business problems into technical designs, leading and delivering workshops, demos and other requirements and design activities as part of an agile process.
• Become a certified technical expert for the Cúram product, performing and supervising design, development, testing and deployment activities.
• Take a leadership and mentoring role with less experienced Merative technical resources.
• Support the client sales team, providing technical support on offerings, delivering presentations to client stakeholders and IT departments.
• Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with fellow employees, partners and customers, promoting Merative as a technically capable and trusted partner.
• Learn and grow your skills related to Cúram implementations, including reporting and analytics, cloud, data migration, web services and application security, and Cúram modules such as rules, financials and workflow.
• Share expertise with your colleagues around the world as you shape best practice across our global team.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise:

• 5+ years of experience in a technical consultant role with an information technology consulting firm or equivalent public sector organization.
• Previous experience as a senior level technical consultant, including:
• Java/JEE/XML development.
• Web service development, both REST and SOAP.
• Design patterns and design methods.
• UML.
• A gile methodologies.
• JEE scalability and performance, and application security.
• Written communication and presentation delivery.
• Relational databases (DB2 or Oracle) and SQL.
• Either Websphere or Weblogic application servers.
• Development Team leadership skills.

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:

Knowledge of:

• JavaScript technologies such as ReactJS.
• DevOps technologies such as CI/CD, Jenkins, etc.

Experience with:

• Delivery of applications on Cloud with AWS, Azure and other.
• Containers using Kubernetes, Helm charts.
• Data Migration.
• Reporting and analytics.

Language Requirements:

• Essential – Finnish & English.
• Helpful – Swedish.
