We are seeking a Senior Marketing Data Scientist to join our international team of marketing professionals working in our offices in Finland, the UK, and North America, and remotely from all over the world. With us, you will get to drive growth for our global and Finnish client base. We are highly supportive of remote work, but your role would involve visiting our offices in Turku or Helsinki, Finland, when needed.

As a Senior Marketing Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding multinational B2C and B2B clients through marketing analytics and supporting their data-driven culture with business intelligence (BI) development. You will handle challenging data projects with the support of our experienced team. Your strong presentation, storytelling, and consulting skills are crucial for your success.

Key responsibilities:

1. Marketing data analytics
   • Supporting digital marketing operations through applied marketing analytics & reporting encompassing multi-channel marketing data
   • Utilising tools like Similarweb, web analytics platforms (i.e. Google tools) and public data & statistics repositories
   • Applying Python or optionally R to enable advanced marketing analytics applications (clustering algorithms for segmentation, customer lifetime value estimation)
   • Developing and optimising SQL queries, handling large amounts of data to create target group segments
2. BI development
   • Developing user-friendly, storytelling reports & dashboards using modern BI solutions (Power BI, Tableau & Looker Studio)
   • Operating common data pipeline tools and databases to support good data storage solutions: GCP BigQuery, Azure, AWS. Integration platforms: Dataddo, Supermetrics.
3. Collaboration
   • Working in digital marketing teams, using collaboration tools and methods: JIRA, Scrum or other agile working methods
   • Participating in team weeklies to build team knowledge, mentoring junior colleagues

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience working in digital marketing
• Minimum 3 years experience working with data analytics and relevant technologies
• Good communication skills and an uplifting can-do attitude to fit the team spirit
• Skills:
  • Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI)
  • Experience with scripting/coding for analytics (Python or optionally R)
  • Familiarity with digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Semrush/Similarweb)
  • Familiarity with data integration tools and databases (SQL, Storage solutions: GCP, Azure, AWS. Integration platforms: Dataddo, Supermetrics.)
