Senior Full Stack Developer with IAM Knowledge

We are looking for a senior developer to join our Access Management team within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) organisation. This is an opportunity for you to be part of an international team, eager to support our mission to Protect the Bank: De-risked, Compliant, Secure & Protected.

About this Opportunity

In IAM, we provide centralised IAM solutions and standardised IAM services with the ambition to strengthen the security of the bank and act as a single point of contact for all units within Nordea, utilizing our solutions and services. IAM belongs to the Cyber Security area within Nordea.

As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in maturing our end-to-end solution that authenticates our users, including multifactor authentication, password self-service, and password-less functionality. You will be responsible for both the user experience and the back-end integrations towards other bank systems. You will be expected to develop new features and contribute to the overall stability and maturity of our solution.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Maturing our authentication services by designing and developing new features in alignment with IAM compliance requirements and security guidelines to support changing business needs.
  • Working with continuous improvement of already existing code and bug fixes.
  • Taking part in quality assurance, security testing, and maintenance activities.
  • Acting as a technical expert and role model following software good practices and guidelines.
  • Working closely with your colleagues and sharing knowledge with others.

The role is based in modern premises located centrally in Helsinki, Stockholm, Oslo, or in the TriCity area in Poland, with the possibility to work partly from home. Please note the candidate should be located in the country of hire already.

Your Experience and Background:

  • Experience with development of REST APIs using Java Spring Boot microservices.
  • Experience with integrating strong authentication methods in a UI.
  • Experience with PowerShell and WebView.
  • Experience with developer tools such as IntelliJ/Eclipse, VSCode, Git.
  • Skills for parameter use and integration of National IDs like MitID, BankID, FTN.
  • Linux and LDAP knowledge.
  • Several years of proven experience working with authentication solutions such as multifactor authentication, Microsoft Windows Hello for Business, and hardware tokens.
  • Knowledge about Microsoft Entra, authentication methods and protocols, SSO, OIDC, SAML, Kerberos, etc.
  • Previous experience working in a DevOps team in an Agile/Scrum setup.
